How to Fix a Gap between a door and frame.

The photo on the left shows a large gap between the door and the frame. This gap causes drafts, air, smoke and debris to easily pass through and allows the door to be easily pried open. Monaco Lock, located in Jersey City, NJ rectified the situation by installing a custom full length stainless steel astragal on the door edge (right). This astragal is thru bolted to the door by our locksmith providing a professional and secure application. Our locksmith's have installed several of these astragals through out North, Central and South Jersey.

Schlage Keypad Lock

This door previously had a standard Arrow lever lock (storeroom function) meaning the lock always locked. The locksmith from Monaco Lock. located in Jersey City replaced the existing lock on the left with a Schlage battery operated keypad lever lock (right). The customer would give the code to whomever needed to gain entry to their facility for a specified time, omitting having to open the door every time they needed entry. This electronic lock will unlock with the code and relock itself after approximately 15 seconds. When the work is done the customer can easily eliminate that code and replace it with another one right through the keypad or leave it stored on the lock if the same people need access in the future. All programming is easily done on the Schlage keypad.
